At Dana Lee Photography, we specialize in capturing the fleeting moments of your newborn's early days. Newborn photography is a unique art form that focuses on preserving the innocence and beauty of your baby in their first few weeks of life. Our sessions are designed to create a calming and enjoyable experience for both baby and parents, resulting in stunning images that you'll cherish for a lifetime.
Our newborn sessions are tailored for babies up to 5 weeks old, and we highly recommend scheduling within the first 10 days after birth for the best results. Babies older than 2 weeks are more alert and may not allow for posing outside of the swaddled wrapped images. To secure your session, please book at least 3 months prior to your due date. We understand that schedules may change, and we are happy to offer flexibility for adjustments after delivery. Due to high demand, we only conduct sessions on weekdays.
Session Options
Option 1: Newborn Mini Session ($275 plus tax)
Capture the essence of your baby's early moments in a concise and intimate setting. This session includes:
- Duration: 30-45 minutes of studio time
- Focus: Baby-only session, featuring 1 set up with your little one swaddled in a cozy wrap
- Variety: We will change the hat or headband and, if the baby allows, incorporate a mini teddy bear for added charm.
- Deliverables: 4 fully edited digital images
- Proof Gallery: Proof Gallery: An online soft-edited proof gallery provided in 7-10 days for you to select your favorite images to be edited.
- Pricing: $275 plus tax
Note: An additional $100 applies for twin newborn sessions. Additional edited digital images and full proof galleries are available for purchase.
Option 2: Full Baby-only Newborn Session ($475 plus tax)
This comprehensive session is designed to create beautiful memories while ensuring a comfortable experience for your newborn.
- Duration: Up to 2 hours studio time
- Focus: Baby-only session with the use of props and outfits provided. All posing is based on baby's cooperation, and we will provide you with information on how to best prepare for the session
- Variety: At least 3 different setups (additional setups based on time)
- Deliverables: 8 fully edited digital images (color and black & white) with print rights
- Proof Gallery: An online soft-edited proof gallery provided in 7-10 days for you to select your favorite images to be edited.
- Pricing: $475 plus tax
Note: An additional $100 applies for twin newborn sessions. Additional edited digital images and full proof galleries are available for purchase.
Option 3: Newborn and Family Session ($575 plus tax)
This session captures the joy of your family as you welcome your new addition.
- Duration: Up to 3 hours studio time
- Focus: Parent and sibling photos, typically conducted in the first or last 30 minutes of the session. Props and outfits provided for the baby. All posing is based on baby's cooperation, and we will provide you with information on how to best prepare for the session
- Variety: At least 3 different setups for the baby (additional setups based on time). Photos with the parents done on a neutral backdrop.
- Deliverables: 10 fully edited digital images (color and black & white) with print rights
- Proof Gallery: An online soft-edited proof gallery provided within 7-10 days for you to select your favorite images to be edited.
- Pricing: $575 plus tax
Note: An additional $100 applies for twin newborn sessions. Additional edited digital images and full proof galleries are available for purchase.
A La Carte Services
- Composited Images: (Images created in post processing) $150 each
- Additional Fully Edited Digital Files: $35 each
- Proof Gallery with Print Rights: $175
